LOVED this place. Being a vegetarian I'm usually skeptical about Korean food but I was so pleasantly surprised. I got the kimchi pancakes for apps which were so good. For mains we got the japchae - amazing, veg bibimpap and kimchi soondubu which was my favorite thing. So flavorful I couldn't stop eating it.

Don's Bogan, a K-town gem, Bulgogi and kalbi, I recommend them. Jap chae shines, banchan's on point, Dak gui falls short, but I'll still reappoint!

We came for a weekend dinner with a reservation, but the restaurant was relatively empty. The restaurant is pretty big and spacious so a good option if you don't have a reservation. I wasn't a huge fan of the seating, since the seats are set in the floor so it's not convenient to get in/out. The service was attentive and they cook the meat for you. We ordered the seafood pancake and two meat platters for 4 people, which was just the right amount of food. We also ordered a pork on the side, but I wasn't a huge fan. The beef was definitely better and my favorite was the marinated short ribs and rib eye! The meal is served with a variety of ban chan and came with rice. Overall it is a good spot for kbbq that is less crowded, but more expensive.

What a great experience at Dons Bogam. We got the fried dumplings and meat platter. Everything was great including the drinks and wine. I just wish they would slow the pace down a bit. More than likely we would have spent more money, too. I guess I'm accustomed to the French way of dining.

Had a great time here! We were two people and split one of the beef combos. With the banchan, it was definitely enough for two. The spicy beef and mushrooms were really good, and they were attentive in coming back to cook more for us as we ate. The cocktails were pretty good too. Would recommend!
